The Story

Amber Teak & Moss begins with warmth.

Cinnamon leaf and nutmeg introduce a dry aromatic spice, lifted by bergamot and the subtle smokiness of incense. As the fragrance develops, white cedar comes forward, giving it the woody character at the heart of the scent.

Spiced honey adds warmth without making the fragrance overtly sweet, while geranium and lavender provide a softer aromatic note through the middle.

The deeper notes emerge slowly. Patchouli brings an earthy quality, sandalwood adds smoothness and amber gives the fragrance its lingering warmth. Dark vanilla sits quietly underneath it all — present enough to soften the woods and spice, but never turning the fragrance into a traditionally sweet vanilla scent.

The result is warm, woody and earthy, with a slightly smoky character that gives the fragrance depth without making it heavy.

Once the last of the wax has been removed, clean the glass and reuse it as a small vase, bathroom container, brush holder or decorative object.

Is Amber Teak & Moss a sweet fragrance?
No. There is dark vanilla and spiced honey in the fragrance, but they sit behind the woods, patchouli, spice and amber. The overall character is warm and woody rather than sweet.

Is it a strong woody fragrance?
Wood is certainly part of its character, particularly white cedar and sandalwood, but bergamot, lavender, geranium and amber soften the composition. It doesn't smell like a single-note cedar fragrance.

Approximately 60 hours when burned and cared for correctly.

Candle Care

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the vessel. This usually takes between 2–4 hours and helps prevent tunnelling.

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before every burn.

Do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time, and keep it away from draughts.

Stop burning when approximately 10mm of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.

Once finished, the vessel can be cleaned and reused.
