Candle Care

How long will my candle burn?

Burn time depends on the size of the candle, the vessel and how the candle is cared for during use.

For the best experience, always follow the recommended burning instructions for your candle and keep the wick trimmed between burns.

How should I do the first burn?

The first burn is the most important one you’ll give your candle.

Wax has a memory. Each time you light it, the pool of melted wax will reach only the diameter it reached on the previous burn. So on the first burn, light every wick and let the wax pool melt right to the edges of the vessel. That sets an even burn for every lighting after it.

If the first burn stops short, the candle tunnels. A ring of unused wax stays around the circumference of the vessel, and the candle’s life shortens.

Give a new candle its full first burn before you put it out, and it will burn evenly to the end.

Always follow the specific care instructions supplied with your candle.

How do I get the best results from my candle?

Before each burn, trim the wick to the recommended length and keep the wax surface free from debris.

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children and pets.

Following these simple steps will help your candle burn more evenly and safely.

We ship Australia-wide for a flat rate of $10.00. It sits well below our actual cost, and we offer it as a thank you to our valued customers.

Processing
Each order is prepared with care and typically processed within 3-5 business days. During peak periods such as the major holidays, please allow 7-14 business days for processing.

Delivery and tracking
Once your order ships, it arrives within 5-10 business days. We send tracking details through Australia Post.

What is your return policy?

If you need to return an item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and reason for the return.

Items must meet the requirements of our returns policy to be eligible for a return or exchange.

What if my candle arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide your order number along with clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

We'll review the issue and help you with the next steps.

Can I return a candle I've changed my mind about?

Candle Safety

How should I safely burn my candle?

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep the candle away from flammable objects, drafts, children and pets. Always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface before lighting.

Never move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is liquid.

How long should I burn my candle at one time?

Avoid burning your candle for excessively long periods.

Follow the care and safety instructions supplied with your candle, and extinguish the flame if the vessel becomes excessively hot or the candle reaches the recommended maximum burn time.

Can I burn my candle all the way to the bottom?

No. Stop using the candle when the remaining wax reaches the manufacturer's recommended minimum level.

Do not burn a candle directly against or onto the vessel surface.

Our Reusable Vessels

What can I do with the vessel after the candle is finished?

Our candles are housed in hand-made glass vessels, with no two exactly alike.

Once the wax has finished, clean the vessel and give it a new life around your home. It can be reused for flowers, keepsakes, bathroom essentials or whatever you choose.

The candle finishes. The glass doesn't.
